My legacy at SACHS appears to be the "Zanon Cannon". Over the years students seem to remember the "Zanon Cannon" experiment the most. Might it be the flames, noise, or the learning?!?
At home - I am known as Mike and am very family-oriented. My parents immigrated from Italy and so we enjoy, as most Italians do, getting together over good homemade cooking. My wife and I have been married for over 21 years - - it seems like just yesterday. Because of all the great home-cooked meals over the years -- it was necessary to loose a few pounds. So hence my passion for running started. In October 2007 - I ran my second marathon (42.2 km in Kelowna in 4 hours and 24 minutes). Did you know that less than 1% of the World's population will ever run a marathon and I have now completed my second?
I am thoroughly enjoying my new role in the school helping teachers and students with computers and teaching Science 10.
